Jocelyn Scheirer is a veteran of the wearable biosensing industry. She has authored and co-authored numerous articles and papers on affective computing and sensing technology and presents at both academic and industry conferences. She has held appointments at Harvard and Brandeis University, and has deep experience in early stage wearable products.   She has been involved in the founding of three MIT Media Lab spinouts, including Affectiva, an emotion recognition software analysis company.  Her expertise combines the psychology of emotion and behavior, early prototyping, and technology strategy.

She consults for individuals and companies.
